Senior Solicitor 
Karen Stubbs was admitted as a solicitor in 1999. She was previously a partner in the firm McMillen Hamilton McCarthy who now specialise in family law. She has built up a wealth of experience in criminal defence work and continues to represent those charged with the most minor to the most serious and complex crimes.
Her most notable cases include the Matalan murder in East London and the fourth trial of the Heathrow robbers which became the first trial in England and Wales to take place without a jury. Recently she helped secure the acquittal of a client facing serious assault charges against a very young baby.
She has also developed particular expertise in representing youth clients and those with mental health difficulties. In joining Edward Fail Bradshaw & Waterson she remains committed to delivering the high quality representation that her clients are used to.
