Acquittal in serious Court Martial case

Natalie Berman instructed Emma Goodall KC of Doughty Street, to defend a Captain in the British Army tried in the Military Court.

After a trial lasting 7 days, our client was formally found not guilty of a serious sexual offence after a successful submission of no case to answer. This followed the cross examination of an expert witness, the defence having obtained our own expert.

He was tried before a 5 member board and this acquittal followed a years’ worth of work.
